Where Can I Advertise My MLM Business Opportunity

thumb it up Diane Cossie
97% of all network marketers are either failing in MLM or are about to fail in the first few months of starting their home based MLM business. The statistic is not exclusive to the MLM industry, there are high statistics of failure in most start up businesses whether they are online or offline and it can be very frustrating and disappointing for people to see all their hard work disappear without a trace in such a short timescale.

With the current economic downturn affecting sales in every kind of business offline many more people are looking to the internet as a way of driving more sales, leads and revenue for their existing business and to build their network marketing businesses.

In the early phase of any new business venture it is important to focus on sales for the first few months to build momentum. Once profits are being generated a percentage can be rolled back into increased marketing to help the business fund itself and grow.
Whereas the most common advertising mediums for offline businesses are usually Yellow Pages and Magazines the selection process online is not easy to see or comprehend.

Many offline companies will try and sell you guaranteed clicks for a set monthly fee and if you are not familiar with how internet marketing actually works this can seem like a good idea but it is an easy way to find out that clicks are not the answer.

Another popular theory is to use Google Adwords, create an advert, throw a bunch of unrelated keywords into a campaign, set a price per click and hope for the best. The real truth about marketing on the internet can only be found by investing in coaching and training by experts in the field. The power of being able to laser target every part of a well executed marketing plan online with the ability to test and measure every keyword, phrase and strategy is why it can be so profitable.

If you are looking for ways in which you can advertise your MLM business opportunity online you should consider a mix WEB 2.0 and social media strategies such as Facebook, My Space, Squidoo and You Tube; content marketing strategies such as articles, blogging and content sharing sites and of course pay per click strategies such as Yahoo Search marketing and Google Adwords.

For more direct advertising there are numerous classified advert sites, ezines and solo ads and of course banner advertising on high traffic websites in still an excellent way to reach your target market.

As with all marketing a large percentage of your time should be spent on research, testing and measuring but if your company training is comprehensive and includes effective internet marketing training your initial learning curve can be shortened to a matter of months instead of years.
